The conference will be held in april 2024 and for the first time it will be held in the United States. The Mayor of Anderson, Terrence Roberts, says they are expecting roughly 200 people to attend this conference that will come from more than two dozen countries around the world. During the conference, there will be international speakers who will talk about a variety of topics, including transportation of the future, renewable energy, arts and culture.

The mayor states that they “have been at the table since 2016 and it was my hope and dream that we one day where we could do it. And we just got over the last decade the infrastructure in place with hotels and restaurants and so we feel very comfortable with it. And so with the cooperation of our county and state delegation, we’re looking very forward to it”.

During the announcement event, city leaders and some representatives from the Inetrnational Network of Michelin cities, such as Vitoria-Gasteiz (ES), Braga (Portugal), Magog (Canada), Valladolid (ES) Clermont-Ferrand (FR) and Greer (US) were present and got to visit the city and its infrastructures.
