Initiative - Vitoria-Gasteiz Sustainable Mobility and Public Space Plan
A people-centered strategy
A decade ago, with major urban expansion and projects such as the tram and railway-laying initiatives, the Vitoria-Gasteiz urban mobility and accessibility system was clearly facing a situation that was giving rise to growing concern in society and public governance bodies about its state and future direction. A successful process of reflection and action then began on the system, with the aim of providing a framework of coherent objectives, strategies and actions to be able to tackle the pressures identified and foreseen.
